Made of wear-resistant special steel, black finished.Inside diameter lapped. During the various stages of machining the rings are subjected to an artificial aging process, which ensures that rings maintain their tolerance for many years. As with gauge blocks (slip gauges), apply grease to inside diameter of rings to protect against corrosion.

Sizes 0.50 to 1.50mm or 0.020" to 0.060"

Ring body made of black finished steel. Core made of synthetic sapphire with lapped inside diameter. Sapphire core is resistant to size deviation wear and corrosion.

Max. deviation from mean diameter : 0.001mm (.000040")
Max. deviation in roundness : 0.0003mm (.000012")
Max deviation in straightness and parallelism over ZL : 0.0005mm (.000020")
Surface roughness : CLA 0.00002mm (0.8 micron)
Hardness : 62-64 Rockwell C
